WARRANTY POLICIES

For our customers

SMI warrants to the purchaser the products covered under its brand for a period of 3 years, effective on the date of purchase.

Any defect resulting from misuse or improper handling, accident, humidity, insects, improper packaging, improper storage conditions, lightning, electrical surges, alterations or modifications to any of its parts, is not covered by this limited warranty. They will be considered invalidating causes for the application of the warranty.

In the event that any product presents a breakdown or malfunction during the warranty period, the buyer must go to our Authorized Service Center of the brand, for the realization of the due technical inspection without cost for the buyer, accompanying the equipment with the purchase invoice. After such technical inspection and the proper diagnosis, and once the causes that invalidate the warranty have been ruled out, the breakdown will be repaired or the equipment will be replaced immediately.

If the causes of the failure were produced by misuse or any of the conditions that invalidate the above mentioned warranty, the cost of repairing the damage shall be borne by the buyer, even during the warranty period.

Once the warranty period has expired, the buyer may visit our Authorized Service Center, where he will be offered the different diagnostic and repair services for the equipment.
